i gotta say i was dissapointed with throwdown this week. i wouldnt like to say its ran its corse but defantly need spicing up. first of all shouts to my mate mlt and think lee? from two+one chanting filter, so oli twist killed the mic and aid if you wanna chant... lol was just funny.
for those who attened the expression session a few months back at the met lounge, was a hiphop and oher genres music night put on by a college girl. i know il gramah and xidus pain, n know the situation people say about these regarding money. but if you see them at one of the first throwdowns or the expression session, you can see how really good they are!!
the expression session wa s16+, a bit of a downer yes. but it pulled all the young garage mc's in who a few, had a go at battling xidus pain. f**king hilairious, although x blatently destroyed them. that was entertainment! and the few songs that they did together but they was sick as f**k and CROWD INTERACTION, CALL AND RESONSE GOES DOWN A LONG WAY!!!
i could go on n on n on. just be good to see some battles, some of pboros best mcs - il gramah, xidus pain, omen, rasta babes, filter.
and last sunday, they never opened the dancefloor to the crowd...
i got some vids from expression session, if i get a miute ill convert them and load them here for you

Ok, totally from a punter who likes hip-hop and the surrounding scenes here is my feedback from the 'Throwdown' on Bank holiday sunday.
Started out as a quality night, beers and beats were flowing and the venue was filling out quite nice. We even got to see some weird fella in a CAT top get heavied out of the club in the early stages for being what the organisers called 'racist and violent', honestly tho, think that dumb ass was just a little special...didnt hear what he was saying so cant really comment, he looked like the village idiot tho and he needed to go home! To the breakers........'Boro won hands down without pulling out all the moves we've seen b4, good work. One small problemo tho, when the fxxk were the PAYING CUSTOMERS supposed to dance?!? I waited and watched for over three hours b4 i was able to let the funk take over my dancing shoes, thats to long man! All in all tho, a well run night with a good turnout, nice one to those who made it happen! P.S- I was one of the few chanting for the almighty FILTER to take the mic, he blasted the heat up as he always does! PEACE.
